FINDING BIOAVAILABILITY

Earlier in this activity, you saw how you could find the bioavailability of a drug by comparing two concentration-time curves for a drug.

However, if you know the area under the concentration-time curve (AUC), the dose and the clearance (CL) for a drug, you can also calculate bioavailability using the equation below.
