AREA UNDER THE CONCENTRATION-TIME CURVE (AUC)
Now that you know the elimination rate constant, the next parameter you can find is the area under the concentration-time curve (AUC). Once you know AUC, you can then go on to calculate clearance and from that, proceed to calculate the volume of distribution.AUC is found using the trapezoidal rule. Remember:
