Agonists: Constructing Dose-Response Curves

Comment About Simulation

When this experiment is performed in the laboratory, you would need to wash out the organ bath and ileum after each addition of acetylcholine.

In the following simulation of the experiment, you do not need to do washouts: you can assume that the ileum and organ bath are adequately washed out between the additions of acetylcholine.
Apparatus

Also, in this simulation, to make calculations easier, you can add up to 8 ml of the drug solution. In the laboratory, you would only add up to a maximum of 1 ml and adjust the concentration of your drug solutions accordingly.
