Plotting On A Semilogarithmic Graph

WHY USE A SEMILOGARITHMIC GRAPH?

When you plot a semilogarithmic graph, the resulting graph is exactly the same shape as the graph obtained when you plot the log values of the concentrations against time when using the more usual linear scales for both the x and y-axes (show example). The cycles and sub-divisions on the semilogarithmic scale are arranged in such a way that they mimic plotting log values without requiring you to actually calculate the log value for a point.

This has several advantages.
